I know that time's gonna fly

HELLO GOOD FRIENDS!!

As I told you on my previous post, today was the deadline of my thesis proposal submission. I submitted my proposal today. On my way home, I realized that I didn’t give my best during the proposal making. I spent my spare time doing nothing when it should be used to do the proposal. That is one of my weaknesses, bad time management. A lesson learned from this situation. When I’m freezing, time is still running. Life gives me two options, run together with the time or still freezing by doing nothing and let the time leave me behind. Well, past will be the past. I will fight for my future then. Again, I’m begging for your prayer and wish me luck for the proposal defense.

I wore my mama’s oversized sweater. You can’t see my shorts because the sweater covers it up. I love this sweater’s color. It reminds me with England my favorite country after Indonesia. And this uber cute ornament is a gift from my boyfriend’s mom when she travelled to Bangkok(thanks tante Icha :D)

Runaway with My Hope

HELLO GOOD FRIENDS!!

I went to a book store today to buy some references books for my thesis. I spent about 3 hours but I find nothing. At the end, I got 2 novels. 2 novels, not some reference books, ladies and gentlemen!! Sigh. I just sent the second chapter of my proposal to my lecturer by email. I wish the result is a bunch of happiness. Dear.. 3 days left to submit the proposal!! I really really need your prayers, guys. I do need everything happen as my hope. So, wish me tons of luck <3

 

 And.. this floral dress is vintage. I got them last year at the most famous thrift store in my city. For those of you who live at Jakarta must know Pasar Senen. I wore a black cape to cover up that sleeveless dress. I added a big gold choker for the final touch. Share your thought and opinion at the comment bar! I'd love to read them.

Uncle's niece

HELLO GOOD FRIENDS!

Everybody wants their happiness, prosperity, laughter are last forever. Who doesn’t want? But nothing lasts forever. Cliché. Life is like a wheel. Spinning round and round. There’s a time when you are at the bottom. Surrounded by sadness and sorrow. Remember, nothing lasts forever. There will be time when you are at the top. Act like a wise man when you are at the bottom then you will be treated as a champion when you are at the top.

Just like me. I feel like I’m at the bottom of the wheel when I’m doing my thesis. But one thing I know, I will be the top of the world when I got my bachelor degree! Hahaha *too much* okay I‘m quiet.

So, these pictures below were taken a couple of days ago. I just couldn’t find a perfect timing to post them. These pics were taken by my uncle before we went out. The funny conversation before he finally took me some snaps was:

Uncle : “Bertha, do you always ask somebody to take pictures for you before you leave home?

Niece : “Yes. It is difficult to do it by myself”

Uncle : “I mean, do you ALWAYS take pictures before you.. Leave home??”

Niece : “Not always. Why? Could you please start help me?!?!”

Uncle : “Oh wait. Your shoes looked a bit weird and your necklace... scariest necklace!!

Niece : (pointing to the camera with straight face) "pleasee"

Born to survive

HELLO GOOD FRIENDS!

This was my outfit today. Accompanied my mama to a shopping center. I can call it as mom and daughter day out. This could be a short time refreshing for me too. I’ve just passed a hard week. Internship, thesis writing, planning about new business and so on. But other hard weeks are waiting to shot me. Ya ya I know. Problems won’t stop until you still here on earth. And I believe that nothing great comes without any obstacles. The more you pretend to be careless, the more you prove that you should to be careful.

Now, all I have to do are count my blessing and stop complaining. Keep calm and I’m going to hug those obstacles while waiting the great moment come to hug me back.

She gets to saying goodbye

HELLO GOOD FRIENDS!

 

How’s life! I’m good, still. And happy, at least I’m trying to pretend that I’m happy. Oh! I told you that I had an internship at a hotel, right? I quit. Yeah, I gave my resign letter yesterday. I left the office with teary eyes. I cried. It was so sad to leave my sweet colleagues. But I have to move because I got another internship place which is really match with my major. I may say it’s a better place. Where?? Secret! I won’t be a spoiler. So, stay tune. I’ll tell you right after I start my internship on Monday.

I’m addicted to The Beatles song since I was a kid. Sing along to the weird sound from my dad’s old radio. The Beatles influenced me a bit on the way I dress up. Just like I did today. Wore flower shorts and wedges with round sunglasses (so Lennon). This outfit reminds me with the flower generation!
